  • Creative Super Bowl Appetizers

    Looking to make more exciting appetizers for your Super Bowl party than the usual meatballs, bacon-wrapped smokies, and chips with cheese dip? Join us to prepare a variety of fun, creative hors d'oeuvres. Each participant will make 2 types of appetizers that can be frozen until the big game. Recipes, instructions, and ideas will be shared, so you'll leave feeling inspired and ready to wow your guests. Please bring 2 cookie sheets or 9x13 pans - you'll go home with around 3 dozen appetizers prepped and ready to go.
  • Simple Scrubs and Luxurious Lips

    Salt and sugar scrubs moisture your body and remove the dead skin from the drying cold of winter. The lip balms moisturize and protect your delicate skin from sun and wind. Store purchased scrubs and lip balms contain many "extra" ingredients our body does not need and can be costly to our wallets. Come, make and take a rich lip balm, and two fragrant body scrubs to give as a gift or to keep. Essential oils, coconut oil and shea butters will be used.
  • Gluten Free Bread

    Join us for a hands-on class for tasting and making all things Gluten Free. Do you need a good pancake recipe or want a chewy bread like ciabatta? Maybe your muffins are too heavy or you have craved a good soft pretzel. Not to mention GF crackers are expensive. Come for a tasting of all things yummy but free of wheat, rye and barley. Try your hand at creating muffins or the dough for bread. Bring home recipes and your dough or the finished muffins. Bring a large bowl or covered container to class with you.
  • Make Ahead Boards - Online

    If it’s a board for 3, 30, or 350 Kirsten has arranged them all, and you can too! The best boards contain many elements that can be prepped ahead, so cook along with Kirsten as she makes Quick Pickled Vegetables and Spiced Nuts, then follow along—or take notes for later—as she adds fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and/or dips then kicks it up a notch with edible garnishes. We’ll talk about what elements make up a well-rounded cheese board, how to arrange cured meats for charcuterie boards, when to go beyond the traditional, and how to source local products. Recipe handout will be provided before class along with a Zoom link. Class recording shared afterwards.
  • Holiday Wreath Making

    Learn how to make your own wreath (all materials, greenery, frame, etc will be provided). Each participant will leave with a complete wreath filled with greens, cones and other plant material from the orchard. Bart and Scott Wardell, owners of Montgomery Orchard, will be your hosts. Participants may want to bring a pair of gardening gloves to protect their hands.
  • Christmas Tree Cutting at Montgomery Orchard

    Now is the perfect time to start a Family Tradition! Sign up for a 1-2 hour event to forage through our Pine and Spruce trees to find the perfect tree for your holiday season. Cost includes a 6 foot tree and hot apple cider for the family. Bring your own saw or some will be available to use if you don’t have one. Register for the day your family plans to come. Come anytime between 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.
  • Holiday Cookies and Treats

    Be prepared for your next holiday “get-together” with this class and sign up with a friend for more baking fun. We will mix, bake, decorate and prepare 10 different holiday treats completely from scratch using the freshest ingredients such as creamy butter, rich chocolates and nuts. No holiday is complete without the sprinkles, the spices and the peppermint. They are also all freezable so that you can eat them later in the season if desired. Please bring containers, wax paper or parchment to bring 10+ dozen treats home in. All ingredients will be provided.
