DNR Firearm SafetyYouth EnrichmentYou MUST be 11 by the date of class. The primary purpose of this class is safety, but it encompasses many other topics. You must attend each class in order to get your certification. Adults frequently take the class along with the younger students. Bring a pencil to class. Parent/Child Class: Homemade DonutsYouth EnrichmentWhat child (or adult) does not LOVE a good donut. Whether it is raised and fried or baked, covered in frosting and sprinkles, it makes for the unhealthiest of breakfast. But we reach for them often. Come and make donuts together with your kids so that they are ready for breakfast the next morning. Because of time, fluffy cake and sprinkled donuts will be made, but recipes and tips will be sent home for raised and fried donuts. Bring a 9x13 pan to bring home your donuts.Winter/Spring 2025-26 -
TCU Drama Presents: Rotten ApplesYouth EnrichmentBy Tracy Wells Grades 4-6. A group of villains—including the Evil Queen, Wicked Stepmother, and the Big Bad Wolf—and some familiar faces with dubious morals— like Little Red Riding Hood and Pinocchio—are locked in a mansion on a dark and stormy night. Their only means of escape is helping Prince Charming figure out the name of a mischievous imp who has his eyes set on a gasp-inducing treasure. As they begin to unravel the mystery before the midnight deadline, the storm knocks out the power in the mansion, and in a twist, some of the guests get knocked out, too. Will anyone be left to crack the riddle of the imp’s name and escape? Or will a parade of surprise guests only make matters worse as even more beloved characters become victims to the unknown assailant? Come experience the stage -acting, blocking, makeup, props, lights, set building and more as you produce your own play as a team of TCU drama students! *Please note not everyone has to be an on-stage performer - there are jobs for lighting, sound and backstage tech!
